2017 Olivier Riviere La Vallada

Olivier Riviere is a French winemaker based in Spain, specifically in Rioja, although he also produces wines in other regions such as Arlanza and Toro.

Originally from the Cognac region, he trained in Bordeaux and his work experience began in Burgundy, at Domaine Leroy, where he immersed himself in biodynamics.

The Vallada 2017 andThis is a mature and serious Tempranillo, fermented with 20% of whole bunches and with only 20% of the volume aged in the barrel. It presents well-integrated oak, ripe fruit without excess, and a smooth texture on the palate, typical of a warmer vintage. It has a medium to full body, with abundant, fine tannins and a chalky texture on the palate.
