It was born in 1994 and is the personal interpretation of one of the most harvested varietals in Bolgheri: La Merlot.
Le Macchiole joined Sassicaia, Ornellaia and Guado al Tasso as one of Bolgheri's most prestigious properties. Considered one of the most representative Merlots in Italy, Messorio is a complex and elegant wine that evolves wonderfully in the bottle over the years.
