2020 Domaine Gerard Raphet Chambolle Musigny Les Bussieres

Raphet's few rows of vines in Les Bussieres abut the Les Sentiers premier cru on the hillside, next to the La Bussieres premier cru in Morey-Saint-Denis. As in Sentiers, the soils are deep and rich in clay. The grapes are hand-picked. Fermentation is completed with native yeasts in a tank. The wine then ages in older French oak barrels for 18 months. It is bottled without fining or filtering.
