This wine changes dramatically with temperature. Chilled, it&#039;s citrusy and floral, but once it warms up in the glass, it becomes pure honey and nectarine. On the palate, it&#039;s slightly sweet with juicy acidity that&#039;s not at all cloying. An absolute delight.<\/p>\n<p>The Scharzhof \u2013 Egon M\u00fcller Winery owns 8.3 hectares of the 28 hectares of the renowned Scharzhofberg estate, located in the steep slate vineyards of the Saar sub-region of the Mosel appellation, considered one of the finest Riesling vineyards in the world. It is located in the municipality of Wiltingen, facing completely south. Within this estate, they own a plot of ungrafted vines planted in the 19th century.
