2016 Quilt Chardonnay Napa Valley
For Quilt Chardonnya Napa Valley, we collect fruit from vineyards of two AVA's: Carneros and Oak Knoll. Cold weather and with temperate hills areas, result in a balanced and classic style.
Joseph Wagner: I wish that Nature would flourish in these incredible regions, shine and that our philosophy of Quilt has achieved that goal.

CHARACTERISTICS
The Carneros and Oak Knoll vineyards operate at different times than other sites in the Napa Valley. The 2016 growing season was no exception, offering almost perfect conditions for this part of the valley: fresh and windy. Although the outbreak was earlier, a harmonic spring followed by slight canopy growth.
Then a very welcome series of warm days brought the harvest to its ideal maturity. The fruit had been collected and we obtained a harvest of lower yields than usual, but of magnificent quality.
