Chateau Cantenac Brown is not a wine to drink young.<\/span> The wine is usually too tannic and concentrated in its youth.<\/span> Young vintages can be decanted for an average of 2 to 3 hours, more or less.<\/span> This allows the wine to soften and open its perfume.<\/span> Older vintages may need very little decanting, just enough to remove sediment.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\nThe 2007 vintage has notes of earth, truffle, dark red fruits and tobacco.<\/span> Even with a nice color for the harvest, there is sweet and acidic fruit, the wine is medium-bodied, full, soft in texture and ends with a fruity, slightly dry, uncomplicated finish.<\/span><\/span><\/h6>\n\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/h6>\nChateau Cantenac Brown, Grand Cru Class\u00e9 in 1855.
