Although the environment originates from the Tortonian era, from a geological point of view, the significant soil erosion due to the steep slope of the hill caused the soil to acquire the typical characteristics of the Serravallian period. Therefore, it is mainly composed of clays and limestones and has a very important percentage of stones.
