Today Gerhard Kracher, grandson of the founder Alois Senior and son of Alois Junior, follows in the footsteps of his tutors by producing and making known one of the most valued Austrian specialties throughout the world: Austrian sweet wine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">The secret of Kracher Beerenauslese Cuv\u00e9e lies behind the warm and humid effect that Lake Neusiedl provides on the vineyards. A microclimate that allows Botrytis cinerea to grow, a fungus that removes water from grapes and, consequently, increases the percentage of sugars.
