2019 Javier Revert Sensal

Javi Revert Sensal 2019 is a "village" red wine (local wine) made with Garnacha Tintorera (70%) and Monastrell, planted in a 1965 vineyard at 700 meters above sea level in La Font de la Figuera, Valencia. The soils are calcareous, fresh and slightly clayey. In 2019, the wine featured a higher proportion of Garnacha due to rain that affected the ripening of other grapes, such as Monastrell.

Aromas of juicy red fruit, floral notes, and fresh Mediterranean herbs stand out. The palate is juicy, with ripe red fruit flavors and rounded tannins. The wine is aged in a 1,000-liter amphora, barrel, and demijohn, seeking freshness and balance. The grapes come from different plots in the Els Juncarejos and La Font de la Figuera areas, including old and young vines replanted on mountainous terrain.
