2020 4 Monkeys Wineries, Fraile Needle

The 4 Monos Aguja del Fraile 2020 wine is a Madrid red wine made with the Garnacha variety, specifically from old vineyards in Cadalso de los Vidrios, at an altitude of 900 meters. It is a wine characterized by its elegance, lightness, harmony, and floral notes, the result of spontaneous fermentation with whole bunches and aging in French oak barrels for 14 months.

 100% Garnacha, from vines between 60 and 80 years old, planted in a bush-shaped pattern on decomposed granite soils. Cold maceration, spontaneous fermentation with whole stems in tanks, and aging in 300 and 500-liter French oak barrels. Floral notes, with hints of dried roses, lavender, and other flowers, combined with spices such as pepper and rosemary.

Elegant, light, harmonious, with fruity notes and a persistent finish.
