2018 Marchesi Di Barolo Barbaresco SERRAGRILLI (Cru Storici)

Serragrilli is a gently sloping hill in the city of Neive. It faces southwest, so the Nebbiolo grapes are exposed to the sun until late afternoon. The earth has the same composition and uniform appearance everywhere. The soil is compact and there is a homogeneous percentage of macro and microelements, the clays and limestones are covered by an adequate layer of quartz sands and fine silt. The vineyard extends over the top of the hill, all the way to the ridge.
