“The 2018 harvest was one of the wettest and most tropical we've seen on Etna in the last eight years, especially at the end of summer. This year, we had to increase the number of vineyard visits to carefully remove leaves, avoiding burns and allowing air to pass through the canopy to mitigate the effects of this humid climate. We also counteracted the effects of diseases with natural products like clay and propolis. With immense effort, we managed to harvest and produce a great wine this year.” Vini Franchetti.
