2021 Bodegas 4 Monos GR-10 White

The GR-10 Blanco is a village white from vineyards in Cadalso de Los Vidrios (80-100 year-old Albillo) and San Martín de Valdeiglesias (Macabeo/young Moscatel). The grapes were hand-harvested, cold-macerated whole bunches for 12 hours, gently pressed, and fermented with wild yeasts in steel tanks. The wine was aged in 300- and 600-liter French barrels on fine lees for six months. The final wine was blended, lightly clarified with bentonite, and bottled unfiltered. It is a fresh mountain white with a pleasant aroma and easy drinking.
