El Comando G Rozas 2022, a village red wine from the Sierra de Gredos, is characterized by its elegance and Mediterranean personality. It stands out for its marked minerality and aromas of ripe red fruit, raspberries and cherries, with sweet spicy notes. On the palate, it is round, fresh and smooth, with soft, tasty tannins and a long, persistent finish.
The wine is made with Garnacha grapes from old vines (60-90 years old) planted at 900 meters above sea level on granite, sand and silica soils. It is fermented in open oak and concrete vats with native yeasts and aged for 9-10 months in oak foudres and concrete vats. Production is limited, around 11,298 bottles, and is sold without clarification or filtration.
