2016 Domain of Atauta Ribera del Duero

Dominio de Atauta 2016 bears the hallmark of one of the most important and unique wineries in the Ribera del Duero DO. A Tempranillo wine reflecting the potential and concentration of the vineyards in a unique valley: Valle de Atauta (Soria), at an altitude of 1,000 m. Perfected with aging in French oak barrels.

Cherry red color with violet hues. A frank, intense, and complex aroma of red and black fruits accompanied by aromatic herbs that blend perfectly with a mineral background of chalk from the limestone rock on which the Atauta Valley is located. Fresher than the 2014, it is all elegance and delicacy with that mineral character that is part of Dominio de Atauta's DNA. A vintage from a winemaker where only great viticulture can achieve great quality by sacrificing quantity.
