2016 Lopez de Heredia Gravonia Vineyard
$95.00
Viña Gravonia 2016 is a single-varietal wine made from the Viura grape. The grapes come from 50-year-old vineyards on the Viña Zaconia estate, a farm in the store, located next to the Ebro River. The vines are planted at an altitude of 200 metres on poor soils. came It is aged for 48 months in oak barrels containing various wines to minimize the intensity of the juices. The first nose reveals frank notes that evolve toward white-fleshed fruits. We quickly find a slightly vanilla profile with waxy aromas. The development in the glass becomes more complex. On the palate, it is the power of the flesh that impresses with a well-balanced substance and a finely tannic finish (for a white) with very elegant bitter notes. This is a marvel known to aficionados around the world.
